I had been surprised at exactly how much pure gas I saved each and every month by just turning off the pilot light-weight!  Update 10/15/2018: Never make this happen! Turning off the pilot mild to my gas fireplace, ruined the system to relight the fireplace. I needed to call in a very restore person to switch it.As on the list of golden procedure
